1.4 Which groups are considered to be vulnerable groups?

Oplossing

Examples of vulnerable people are: children / minors, pregnant women, older people, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, minorities. The interpretation of the concept of vulnerable persons is highly dependent on the context of the research. The interpretation of this can be very different depending on the country where the data is collected (eg political preferences). Minorities are therefore understood in a very broad sense.

Processing the personal data of the vulnerable involved can lead to a risk analysis (see 2.5). In addition, this will also have consequences for the way in which information is provided (see 4.1) and permission is obtained (see 4.2).
